Axel Perez is a Lynwood Unified School District alumnus dedicated to helping students receive equal opportunities in education, advocating for the vital impact of enrichment outside of the classroom. Most recently, Axel worked at the Lynwood Unified School District as a Communications Intern, and the Educare Foundation as a Program Lead. Additionally, he has held leadership positions with the Lynwood Alumni Association. Most recently, Axel joined the Lynwood Partners Educational Foundation as the Program and Development Coordinator. He is a first-generation college student obtaining his Bachelor of Arts in Public Administration from California State University Fullerton. Axel is an inspiring organizer, activist, and creative leader committed to ensuring leadership has no borders.
