Hello, My name is Marlen Dominguez and I am a Lynwood High School Alumni from Class of 2013. After graduating, I attended East Los Angeles College where I discovered my passion for Communications, Journalism and Public Relations. I obtained two Associates Degree from East Los Angeles College in General Studies and Sociology for Transfer. Then I transferred to Cal Poly Pomona in Fall 2017, majoring in Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations. I graduated from Cal Poly Pomona in May 2021 and I started interning at a Public Relations firm in Anaheim and Riverside for almost a year. After leaving the PR firm, I am now currently interning at the Port of Long Beach in the Communications and Community Relations division, where I support Community Relations team on numerous education programs through LBUSD, presentations, narrate Harbor Tours, develop social media content ideas, and set up signages for major events. On my free time, I love to travel, attend Dodger games, work out, visit Amusement Parks, and exploring new coffee shops.
